PREAMBLE

Global Mission and Development Ministries (GMDM) is a mission-based organization founded by Dr. Paul and Miriam Kariuki in 2010 that exists for the purpose of changing lives and transforming nations. We are passionate about the message of salvation, that God cares about every individual, He cares about every nation, and that He still speaks to us today through His word and servants. Out of that passion, we develop resources and convene events to equip believers in leadership, spiritual warfare, intercession, Faith, the Holy Spirit, the Supernatural, revival, reformation, and evangelism.

ABOUT THE MINISTRY

This is a non-denominational ministry, called to support the local church in areas of evangelism, discipleship, leadership equipping, and intercession. Our passion and priority have been to partner with the Church as it equips and sends individuals to share the Gospel of Christ with unreached and underserved communities and nations.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH (WHAT WE BELIEVE)

We believe:

  • THE BIBLE is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
  • There is ONE GOD, eternally existent in three Persons:
  • God The Father
  • God The Son
  • God The Holy Spirit
  • In the Deity of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right Hand of the Father, His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule.
  • In the BLESSED HOPE – the rapture of the Church at Christ’s second coming.
  • The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.
  • Re-­generation by the HOLY SPIRIT is essential for personal salvation.
  • The redemptive work of Christ on THE CROSS provides healing for the body in response to believing prayer.
  • The BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it, with the evidence of “speaking in tongues”.
  • In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is able to live a HOLY LIFE.
  • In the RESURRECTION of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

About The Founder and President of GMDM

Dr. Paul Kariuki is the visionary and founder of the Global Missions and Development Ministries (GMDM), Durban, South Africa. He has been involved in the ministry for the last twenty years. Prior to establishing this ministry, he held several pastorate positions in four different churches in Durban and Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. He received postgraduate training in theology, leadership development, development economics, public administration, and governance, as well as in monitoring, and evaluation. His mission is to equip believers for effective kingdom service and living through the teaching and preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. His vision is nations globally are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit through the preaching of the cross (evangelism), intercession, and the word of faith while promoting development initiatives across Africa and the world. He is married with a blessed family and lives in Durban.
